Meals at Mara West are as much about gathering together as they are about the food. Lunch is usually served outside on the lawn, where giraffe, zebra, impala, and mongoose often wander nearby. In the evening, dinner moves inside Kingfisher, our dining lodge, while the fire pit offers a relaxed place to sit, talk, and spend a little more time together.
Between safaris, the pool is an easy place to slow down and enjoy a quieter side of camp life. Take a swim, settle in with a book, or stop by Twiga Coffee Shop for a coffee or cold drink. The pool area includes one large swimming pool and two smaller solar-heated pools, giving everyone a place to relax and recharge before heading out again.
Unwind after a day in the Mara with a relaxing massage, enjoyed at the spa or in the privacy of your room or porch. A quiet way to slow down, recharge, and relax.
Stay active between safari days in our gym, located just steps from the pool. Whether fitting in a quick workout or keeping up with your usual routine, it’s an easy way to keep moving while you’re away.
Just a short walk from your accommodation, our sunrise spot looks out across the Mara from high on the escarpment. Wake early to watch the first light stretch across the landscape below, or make the morning even more memorable with a sunrise breakfast served right at the viewpoint.
